## Missions/Main Duties

**The Opportunity**

 

As a graduate mechanical engineer, you will be part of the teams behind the
transport systems and infrastructure that people rely on every day. In a
consulting engineering environment, you will have the opportunity to work on a
variety of projects across rail and wider transport networks, supporting the
**design, analysis, integration, and assurance of mechanical systems** that help
keep journeys safe, reliable, and efficient. From rolling stock and depot
environments to stations, ventilation, and operational infrastructure, you will
build hands-on experience while learning from experienced professionals and
gaining insight into how complex transport projects are delivered.
