# InnoTrans 2026 

## Shaping the future of mobility and regions

**InnoTrans **is one of the leading international rail trade fairs dedicated to
public transport technologies. Organised every two years in Berlin by Messe
Berlin since 1996, it has established itself as a key event for industry
stakeholders and for innovations that are transforming mobility.

At the 2026 event, SYSTRA will be placing particular emphasis on its latest
solutions in engineering, systems and digital innovation, designed to address
our clients’ challenges.

### Artificial intelligence for transport infrastructure and systems

**Practical applications of AI to speed up analysis, organise information, improve traceability and support decision-making in infrastructure and transport projects.**

Within our teams, artificial intelligence is seen as a means of enhancing
efficiency and reliability. It enables us to process complex volumes of
information more quickly, organise project knowledge more effectively, and
support teams in their analyses.

The aim is not to replace expertise with technology, but to create working
conditions that are more robust, more streamlined and better documented.

### Taking action now to build infrastructure that is more resilient to climate-related risks

**Digital solutions to anticipate future exposure of assets, visualise vulnerabilities and better guide investment and adaptation decisions.**

Faced with increasingly severe weather events, infrastructure managers need
decision-support tools that are more accurate and forward-looking. The
approaches put forward by SYSTRA make it possible to objectively assess levels
of exposure, prioritise points of vulnerability and inform priorities for
action. The aim is to strengthen the resilience of networks without losing sight
of operational, cost and time constraints.

### NeXway: digitisation of testing

NeXway addresses a key challenge in rail projects: making the testing and
commissioning phases clearer, better coordinated and safer. By consolidating
data, field observations and validation procedures within a structured
environment, the solution helps to minimise uncertainties, streamline
communication between stakeholders and better prepare for the transition to
operational service.

### FRMCS: planning ahead to ensure we are ready to migrate to the new railway communications standard

**A structured approach to migration to the Future Railway Mobile Communication System, with a view to preparing for a transition that is critical to the future of railway networks.**

The migration to the FRMCS represents a pivotal development for railway
communication systems. This transition involves complex technical,
organisational and scheduling decisions, which must be prepared for in a
systematic manner.

SYSTRA promotes an approach that enables the anticipation of impacts, the
clarification of migration pathways and the provision of support to stakeholders
in a transformation that addresses both the future performance of networks and
the safety of operations.
