Southern Europe Atlantic HSL

Southern Europe Atlantic HSL

SYSTRA was appointed project manager for the design of the new Southern Europe Atlantic high speed line (SEA HSL). In addition, a joint venture set up by SYSTRA was commissioned to manage signalling, telecommunications, energy and the superstructure.

The objective of the SEA HSL is to connect the French Atlantic coast to the rest of Europe and the Iberian Peninsula as well as reducing the journey time between Paris and Bordeaux to 2h05. The LGV SEA is being built under a 50-year concession contract.
The construction of this new line primarily involves the creation of a new railway infrastructure, works bases, maintenance bases and electric power supplies.

High Speed Line South-Europe Atlantic will be commissioned in July 2017, the 2nd. It will be for SYSTRA the culmination of 10 years’ work.
