Job Purpose<\/p>\n

The BIM Modeller – Civil Works<\/em> is responsible for producing and managing civil BIM models and drawings in Autodesk Civil 3D<\/em> for the light rail project. The role includes development of alignments, corridors, surfaces, grading, utilities interfaces, and associated civil design documentation in compliance with project BIM standards and design requirements.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Missions\/Main Duties<\/h2>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n

    \n
  • CAD Drafting & Drawing Preparation Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for rail and road projects, including: Track layouts and alignment plans Cross-sections and longitudinal profiles Roadway plans and typical sections Civil and structural layouts related to transportation projects<\/li>\n
  • Ensure drawings comply with project standards, codes, and client requirements.<\/li>\n
  • Create and maintain drawing templates, title blocks, and CAD libraries for efficient workflows. <\/li>\n
  • MicroStation Expertise Utilize Bentley MicroStation V8i \/ CONNECT Edition for drafting and design.<\/li>\n
  • Manage reference files, levels, and sheet models to maintain model integrity.<\/li>\n
  • Implement CAD standards and workflows, including layer management, symbology, and annotation styles.<\/li>\n
  • Support the integration of BIM processes where applicable. <\/li>\n
  • Work closely with engineers, survey teams, and designers to ensure design intent is accurately captured in drawings.<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate with other disciplines such as structures, drainage, and utilities for clash-free, integrated outputs.<\/li>\n
  • Support design teams during design reviews, approvals, and stakeholder presentations <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Profile\/Skills<\/h2>\n

    Required Qualifications<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Drafting,<\/em> or related field.<\/li>\n
    • Proven experience as a Civil 3D Drafter<\/em> on infrastructure projects.<\/li>\n
    • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D<\/em>.<\/li>\n
    • Good understanding of civil engineering design principles including roads, grading, drainage, and utility coordination.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to prepare plan\/profile sheets, cross-sections, and corridor-based models.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Experience on light rail, rail, highway,<\/em> or urban infrastructure projects.<\/li>\n
      • Knowledge of Navisworks<\/em> for coordination and clash review.<\/li>\n
      • Familiarity with GIS, survey integration, and data exchange workflows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
