The role includes development of alignments, corridors, surfaces, grading, utilities interfaces, and associated civil design documentation in compliance with project BIM standards and design requirements.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Missions\/Main Duties<\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 0px\">Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and update <em>Civil 3D models<\/em> for track corridors, roads, drainage, earthworks, utility diversions, at-grade interfaces, depot external works, and other civil infrastructure associated with the project.<\/li>\n<li>Create and manage <em>alignments, profiles, assemblies, corridors, surfaces,<\/em> and grading models.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain fully functional and up-to-date Civil3D models within the <em>ACC-Forma collaborative platform<\/em>, ensuring proper data references, file structure, model accessibility, version control, and compliance with project collaboration workflows.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare <em>plan and profile drawings, cross-sections,<\/em> earthworks drawings, utility layouts, and general arrangement drawings.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate civil models with structural, architectural, MEP, rail systems, and utility disciplines.<\/li>\n<li>Support design teams by converting engineering concepts and mark-ups into accurate BIM\/CAD deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all modelling and documentation comply with the <em>BIM Execution Plan<\/em>, CAD\/BIM standards, coordinate systems, and client delivery requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in clash detection and design coordination reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Manage data references, data shortcuts, shared coordinates, and file linking practices within the project environment.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in generating quantities, cut-and-fill information, and model-based outputs where required.<\/li>\n<li>Update deliverables in line with design revisions and comments from engineering teams.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain model integrity, naming consistency, and document control compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Support production of submissions across concept, preliminary design, detailed design, and construction stages&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Profile\/Skills<\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 0px\">Required Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma or degree in <em>Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Drafting,<\/em> or related field.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience as a <em>Civil 3D Modeller \/ BIM Modeller<\/em> on infrastructure projects.<\/li>\n<li>Strong proficiency in <em>Autodesk Civil 3D<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of civil engineering design principles including roads, grading, drainage, and utility coordination.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to prepare plan\/profile sheets, cross-sections, and corridor-based models.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with coordinate systems, survey data, and topographic modelling.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of BIM processes, model federation, and multidisciplinary coordination.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\">Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience on <em>light rail, rail, highway,<\/em> or urban infrastructure projects.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of <em>Navisworks<\/em> for coordination and clash review.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with GIS, survey integration, and data exchange workflows.<\/li>\n<li>Experience within ISO 19650 or similar BIM management frameworks.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\">Key Skills<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Civil 3D modelling expertise<\/li>\n<li>Corridor and surface modelling<\/li>\n<li>Profile and cross-section production<\/li>\n<li>Utility and interface coordination<\/li>\n<li>Accuracy and quality control<\/li>\n<li>Communication and teamwork<\/li>\n<li>Schedule awareness<\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\">The reference salary range for this role would be $65,000 &#8211; $85,000 CAD \/ Annually&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2><!---text--> <\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 0px\">SYSTRA Canada is committed to having a diverse and inclusive workforce.
