### Paramics Discovery 29: Faster Build, Smarter Behaviour, Better Usability

Paramics Discovery 29 is now available to download from the Paramics Support
Centre for all licence holders.

This latest release introduces a strong set of enhancements designed to help
users build networks faster, improve simulation realism and benefit from a
smoother day-to-day modelling experience.

**Key enhancements in Paramics Discovery 29**:

- **OpenStreetMap import capabilities** enable key network elements, including
  links, nodes, lane counts, speed limits and cycle paths, to be imported
  directly, reducing setup time and helping users build models faster from
  real-world data.
- **Refined vehicle behaviour** includes hazard reaction distances for
  individual hazards using drag-and-drop signposts, improved ramp-style merge
  behaviour and a new reaction factor for more realistic simulation outcomes.
- **Usability improvements** include new search functionality in the styles
  dialog and other areas of the software, helping users navigate and manage
  settings more quickly.
- **Enhanced Conjoined Queue Collection** improves visibility of queue
  conditions by displaying route queue-style queues across the whole network
  every second.
- **A new Licence Update Tool **makes the licence update process quicker and
  easier.

Together, these updates make Paramics Discovery 29 a more streamlined,
responsive and capable platform for transport modelling professionals.
