In this context, SYSTRA has delivered client consultancy for Ish\u00f8j Utility and Ish\u00f8j Municipality in connection with the design and creation of a new blue-green gateway to the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The project focuses on the design due to the basin\u2019s prominent location within the city. The basin will serve as a landmark and a welcoming feature for Ish\u00f8j, with the new light rail acting as the gateway to the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-pilot-project-for-stormwater-treatment\">Pilot project for stormwater treatment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Ish\u00f8j Utility faces a particular challenge regarding stormwater treatment. The challenge is that there is no space for traditional treatment basin solutions for stormwater basins with permanent wet volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of Ish\u00f8j Utility\u2019s future strategy for stormwater management, a pilot project has been launched in connection with the establishment of a new basin. The facility is the largest of its kind in the Nordic region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In this context, SYSTRA has assisted with the preparation of a functional analysis regarding the feasibility of the treatment effect, discharge criteria, and the volume of water that can be treated. The design language is inspired by Ish\u00f8j\u2019s coastal location and the local flora and fauna.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-focus-on-sustainability-in-project-tendering\">Focus on sustainability in project tendering<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In connection with the tendering process, the project has integrated sustainability as a central award criterion.
