{"id":15088,"date":"2021-08-08T11:23:11","date_gmt":"2021-08-08T09:23:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.systra.com\/denmark\/?p=15088"},"modified":"2025-02-13T11:54:57","modified_gmt":"2025-02-13T10:54:57","slug":"denmarks-maritime-spatial-plan-is-digital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.systra.com\/denmark\/en\/news\/denmarks-maritime-spatial-plan-is-digital\/","title":{"rendered":"Denmark&#8217;s Maritime Spatial Plan is Digital\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-first-time-in-digital-form\">FIRST TIME IN DIGITAL FORM\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>At SYSTRA (formerly Atkins Denmark), we are proud to be the system supplier for the Danish Maritime Authority with responsibility for the development and implementation of the digital platform for the maritime plan.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The maritime spatial plan will form the basis for coordinating the many different usages of the marine areas around Denmark and thus support the conditions for sustainable development and utilization of our marine resources.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The maritime spatial plan is the first time that legally valid information is made available exclusively in digital form. The geographical data is loaded from the Danish Maritime Authority&#8217;s GIS environment and is presented in the portal together with the associated regulations. In this way, you can find out which rules apply in a given geographical area at sea and participate in the consultation process for the plan.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:18px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>SYSTRA is responsible for the design, development, data quality assurance, testing and commissioning of the portal for displaying the applicable plan information.
