In a detailed survey and fixed-point establishment, measurements of tracks, technology, constructions, traction current and terrain, as well as gratings and cover levels, are to be made.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In December 2022 and January 2023, all targets were set up along the line, and now ScanSurvey and SYSTRA’s surveyors are in full swing with the mobile scanning.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The scanner collects huge amounts of data while simultaneously capturing film and images. This ultimately results in the data package that Banedanmark needs. The work takes place at night, so it is possible to close off the line without disrupting daily operations on the very busy S-line.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We haven’t done this type of scanning before, so it’s an incredibly exciting task and a learning process for us.\u00a0<\/p>\nRie Rohde, Group manager at SYSTRA<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

We are working with the Norwegian company ScanSurvey, which is SYSTRA’s subcontractor on the project and the Nordic leader in the field. ScanSurvey is responsible for the actual scanning of the line and processes the scan data in collaboration with SYSTRA.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
