It is a welcome revisit, as we completed the program phase back in 2016, during which the main design of the new overhead contact line system was developed.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The project has just started and is expected to be completed in 2029, when the section will be fully upgraded and ready for operation with the new catenary system.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-a-busy-railway-line-requires-meticulous-planning-and-execution\">A BUSY RAILWAY LINE REQUIRES METICULOUS PLANNING AND EXECUTION\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The reconstruction of the 33 km overhead contact line system is done on a busy railway, which places high demands on planning and execution. Therefore, we use our intuitive design tool MSCATS, which has been used for implementing SYSTRA\u2019s overhead line projects for over 25 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile is-image-fill has-pale-lilac-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>I was personally involved in the development of MSCATS at the time, and it is a tool specifically tailored to deliver this type of project. Both projects were commissioned by Banedanmark.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>We look forward to continuing our excellent collaboration with Banedanmark and are pleased to contribute to strengthening the railway network in Denmark, ensuring a future-proof infrastructure for the benefit of
