Durability is a key word when we talk about sustainability. Every time new infrastructure is built, it puts a strain on our environment and climate. Therefore, it is crucial to create infrastructure where we actively consider quality, durability, efficiency in maintenance and renovation so that new infrastructure is not needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Denmark, as well as internationally, SYSTRA is deeply committed to contributing to the journey towards a climate-neutral society. We work with strategies and solutions to reduce CO2 emissions, both in construction projects and in the operation of infrastructure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We use tools to calculate the carbon footprint of materials, facilities and entire projects. The calculations enable both initial (screening) calculations for e.g. the choice of construction form, materials or transport and the actual project itself. We can also prepare life cycle analyses (LCA) for the entire project’s carbon footprint. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Water will increasingly impact our society, our infrastructure and the landscape around us. Protecting existing assets and developing our cities to manage and utilize the increased quantities of water requires thought and innovation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We help screen infrastructure, urban, natural and coastal areas to identify potential flood zones, and we provide multidisciplinary solutions for both small and large-scale civil engineering projects where climate adaptation is crucial. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We are conscious of acting responsibly and sustainably in all aspects of the company’s operations. As a knowledge-based company, our resource consumption and therefore our carbon footprint is lower than many manufacturing companies. However, there is of course room for improvement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is important to us that we have a healthy business with good terms and conditions of employment for our employees.
