SYSTRA Canada is an engineering and consulting firm whose primary focus is to offer transportation solutions, whether for passengers or goods: feasibility studies of building a new railway line, increasing the capacity of the existing infrastructure, privatization of a railway.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Context<\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 0px\">The ALTO project is a major infrastructure initiative in Canadian history, aimed at developing over 1,000 km of new passenger rail service between major urban centers, including Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Missions\/Main Duties<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage, structure, analyze, and standardize project data to support business and user requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and automate data processes and optimize tools across the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem to improve efficiency and data quality.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain dashboards, visualizations, dataflows, and semantic models in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to monitor performance and generate insights.<\/li>\n<li>Work with stakeholders to define reporting needs, deliver effective solutions, and support informed decision-making.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with governance, security, and regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Profile\/Skills<\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 0px\"><strong>Education:<\/strong> Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in in computer science, business intelligence, data analytics, statistics, business administration, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.<br \/><strong>Years of experience:<\/strong> 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.<br \/><strong>Technical skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Dataflow Gen2, Data Factory, and Notebooks, for data ingestion, storage, organization, transformation, and orchestration of analytics workflows.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to design, maintain, and optimize semantic models, dashboards, and reporting solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Strong command of DAX and Power Query for data modeling, extraction, cleansing, transformation, and advanced analytics.<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data quality principles.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, in French and English*<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\"><strong>* Reasons for the bilingual requirement:<\/strong> You will have the opportunity to collaborate with various project stakeholders; bilingualism is essential for building strong relationships with our clients, understanding their specific needs, and communicating effectively in their preferred language.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\"><strong>Interpersonal skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analytical mindset, rigor, and autonomy<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in an agile and collaborative environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2><!---text--> <\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 0px\">SYSTRA Canada is committed to having a diverse and inclusive workforce.
