This role is responsible for leading day-to-day systems engineering activities across the designated project scope, ensuring that requirements, interfaces, integration, verification, validation, and configuration processes are effectively planned, implemented, and controlled throughout the project lifecycle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\">The successful candidate will work closely with design, assurance, RAMS, testing, construction, and stakeholder teams to ensure that the LRT system is delivered in accordance with project requirements, applicable standards, and certification expectations. This role requires strong leadership, technical coordination, and experience working on rail or similarly complex infrastructure programs.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Missions\/Main Duties<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage day-to-day systems engineering activities for the SRS scope.<\/li>\n<li>Lead&nbsp;requirements capture, analysis, allocation, traceability,&nbsp;and&nbsp;change control&nbsp;for SRS systems.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain requirements compliance and traceability from design through verification and handover.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate&nbsp;interface management&nbsp;across disciplines, contractors, stakeholders, and external parties.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, maintain, and control&nbsp;interface control documents (ICDs)&nbsp;and interface registers.<\/li>\n<li>Identify, track, and resolve interface issues, risks, and action items.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and coordinate&nbsp;verification and validation (V&amp;V)&nbsp;activities for system and subsystem requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure V&amp;V evidence is collected, reviewed, organized, and maintained to support assurance and certification.<\/li>\n<li>Support&nbsp;integration management&nbsp;activities across systems and subsystems.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with design, testing, assurance, and delivery teams to manage integration dependencies and risks.<\/li>\n<li>Support&nbsp;configuration management&nbsp;processes, including baseline control, document control, and change management.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to&nbsp;RAMS and hazard management&nbsp;activities, including maintaining relevant registers, records, and supporting documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Provide systems engineering input to hazard identification, mitigation tracking, and closure activities.<\/li>\n<li>Guide design teams on the use of systems engineering methods, tools, and best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with applicable project standards, procedures, and engineering governance requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Support technical reviews, audits, assurance reviews, and certification submissions as required.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and maintain systems engineering plans, reports, registers, and technical documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Profile\/Skills<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree in&nbsp;Engineering&nbsp;in Electrical, Systems, Mechanical, Civil, or a related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed in Ontario&nbsp;or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>15+ years of systems engineering experience on rail or complex infrastructure projects.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes, including:Requirements management<\/li>\n<li>Interface management<\/li>\n<li>Integration management<\/li>\n<li>Configuration management<\/li>\n<li>Verification and validation<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with&nbsp;CENELEC EN 5012x,&nbsp;IEEE 15288, or similar standards for rail systems.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with&nbsp;DOORS&nbsp;or equivalent requirements management tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><!---text--> <\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 0px\">SYSTRA Canada is committed to having a diverse and inclusive workforce.
