With its new services, SYSTRA supports its clients and partners in their digital, ecological and energy transition, in order to invent the mobility of tomorrow.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Context<\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 0px\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;font-family: &#039;Aptos&#039;,sans-serif\">The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of electrical engineering solutions for a wide range of projects. Specifically for Power System (HV, MV, LV), Lighting, Small power, &amp; ELV systems. This role provides advanced technical expertise across all phases of project execution, from concept development and detailed design to construction support and commissioning. Oversees the preparation and review of electrical design documents, calculations, specifications, and drawings, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, client requirements, and company quality procedures<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Missions\/Main Duties<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in .35in\"><span style=\"color: black\">Performs and oversees a comprehensive range of electrical design and engineering calculation activities to ensure system safety, functionality, efficiency, and compliance with applicable codes and standards. These include, but are not limited to, load calculations, voltage drop calculations, cable sizing, containment sizing, lighting lux calculations, short circuit studies, distribution system layout development, load flow analysis, earthing and grounding calculations, and other technical assessments required to complete project design requirements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in .35in\"><span style=\"color: black\">Performs and reviews ELV system design and calculation work, including fire alarm systems, building management systems, access control systems, and other ELV systems as required by the project, ensuring proper integration, operability, and compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in .35in\"><span style=\"color: black\">Ensures full compliance with the Philippine National Standards (PNS), Philippine Electrical Code, NEC, IEEE Standards, Fire Code of the Philippines, NFPA, and all other relevant local and international codes, regulations, and standards applicable to the project.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in .35in\"><span style=\"color: black\">Collaborates closely with internal and external project teams, including other engineering disciplines, clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders, to ensure the seamless integration of electrical and ELV systems into the overall project design and execution strategy.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in .35in\"><span style=\"color: black\">Prepares and provides regular reports on project progress, issues, concerns, constraints, and corresponding resolutions to the MEPF Manager, Team Lead, Senior Management, and other relevant stakeholders, ensuring timely communication, effective monitoring of deliverables, and proper escalation of critical matters.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in .35in\"><span style=\"color: black\">Supports project planning, technical decision-making, resource coordination, and design review activities, while carrying out other responsibilities as assigned by the MEPF Manager, Team Lead, or authorized project leadership in support of project requirements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in .35in\"><span style=\"color: black\">Promotes the sharing of technical knowledge, engineering standards, and industry best practices while mentoring junior engineers and designers to strengthen their technical capability and enhance overall team performance and project delivery quality.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in .35in\"><span style=\"color: black\">Provides technical guidance and supervision to drafters, designers, and junior engineers by preparing, reviewing, and approving drawing mark-ups and design instructions, and by serving as a technical reference to support the production of accurate engineering drawings and coordinated deliverables.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in .35in\"><span style=\"color: black\">Reviews, checks, and monitors design deliverables to ensure that work prepared by drafters and engineers is completed efficiently, consistently, and in accordance with company QA\/QC procedures, technical standards, and project requirements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in .35in\"><span style=\"color: black\">Ensures that all design processes, calculations, QA\/QC reviews, revisions, technical evaluations, iterations, and test analyses are properly documented, organized, and stored in the SPI server or designated project drive in compliance with project documentation and document control requirements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in .35in\">\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in\"><span style=\"color: black\">&nbsp;As necessary\/required in the project:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in .35in\"><span style=\"color: black\">Conducts site surveys, existing facility assessments, and feasibility studies for renovation, rehabilitation, and new projects as required.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in .35in\"><span style=\"color: black\">Reviews and recommendations of vendor submittals, technical proposals, and test reports to verify quality, compliance, and suitability for project application.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in .35in\"><span style=\"color: black\">Provides construction and technical support during project execution, including responses to RFIs, submittal reviews, preparation of design specification documents, and development of operational manuals.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Profile\/Skills<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: black;font-size: 10pt\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Electrical Engineering<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;color: black\">PEE or Master&rsquo;s degree is an advantage.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: black\">Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in leadership roles overseeing Electrical Engineering teams.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: black\">Strong knowledge of building codes, electrical standards, V.E. techniques, and electrical design principles.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: black\">Proficiency in using engineering and design software ( ETAP, DiAlux, AutoCAD, and other applicable design software for electrical).
