Supporting the management and delivery Strrategic Modelling projects in UK and Ireland. Becoming a technical expert in the development and application of Strategic Modelling systems including the setting up and running of modelling scenarios and the extraction, processing and presentation of modelling results to clients and stakeholders.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Missions\/Main Duties<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Act as a technical lead on small\/medium projects<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Execute tasks to quality, time and budget<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Specify information requirements directly to the client<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Identify the information needed to deliver tasks<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Review the accuracy of junior staff&#8217;s analysis<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Stakeholder, client and cross functional relationship management<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Demonstrate thoroughness and judgement in analysing information and presenting conclusions<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Demonstrate intermediate proficiency in the application of a broad range of methods, techniques and tools<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Take responsibility for defined sections of SYSTRA reports. Ensuring successful project delivery to time, cost, quality and other contractual requirements.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Profile\/Skills<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Working with complex datasets<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Transport or mathematical modelling experience<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt;color: windowtext\">Experience in Strategic Modelling (Demand\/Public Transport)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt;color: windowtext\">Proficiency in at least one of <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Cube, VISUM, EMME<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Experience in Python and other coding languages, including development using defined best practice<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Computer skills including some of the following: <\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">AutoCAD design<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Spreadsheets<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Databases<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Programming \/ coding<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Statistical analysis<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Being a team player and contributing to projects in other sectors as required (Transport Planning, Rail consultancy, development planning etc)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Working with clients to understand ultimate objectives and desired outcomes for each project<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\">We are particularly interested in candidates who are excited by the future of modelling and can bring fresh thinking to established challenges.
