To support these potential opportunities, we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our project teams and contribute to our mobility solutions.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\"><span class=\"LineBreakBlob BlobObject DragDrop SCXW118244735 BCX8\"><br class=\"SCXW118244735 BCX8\"><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW118244735 BCX8\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW118244735 BCX8\">The Mechanical Engineer will p<\/span><\/span>rovide engineering and technical support for all mechanical works performed on site therefore, SYSTRA is looking for <strong>Mechanical Engineer (Saudi National)<\/strong> to join our team to be based at Riyadh , Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Missions\/Main Duties<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement and monitor mechanical construction activities in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, project specifications, and safety requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Review contractor mechanical shop drawings in coordination with structural, architectural, and electrical disciplines to ensure proper integration and compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular site inspections and evaluate subcontractor performance to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Support and guide site inspectors on mechanical engineering matters and assist in resolving technical issues.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with site inspectors to maintain complete and accurate Inspection and Test Records (ITRs).<\/li>\n<li>Review site preparation activities and temporary works to verify compliance with contract documents and project standards.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise mechanical installations and monitor contractor construction schedules related to MEP works.<\/li>\n<li>Identify, report, and assist in resolving technical issues related to HVAC, smoke management systems, plumbing, firefighting systems, escalators, elevators, and other mechanical services.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and track mechanical defects, snags, and punch-list items, ensuring timely corrective action by contractors.<\/li>\n<li>Review and provide comments on testing and commissioning results for mechanical systems.<\/li>\n<li>Attend project meetings, site progress meetings, and technical coordination meetings with clients and project stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor compliance with site safety, health, environmental, and security requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in planning and sequencing construction activities in accordance with the Project Quality Plan.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor work progress and support verification for progress payments and schedule reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Review Field Change Requests (FCRs) and provide technical input regarding mechanical-related variations and claims.<\/li>\n<li>Implement corrective actions to address delays and support timely completion of project objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare daily reports, inspection reports, estimates, and other project documentation as required.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in final inspections, snagging activities, and project closeout processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Profile\/Skills<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of relevant site-based experience on construction projects involving mechanical systems.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience with HVAC systems, smoke management systems, plumbing, firefighting systems, escalators, and elevators.<\/li>\n<li>Strong ability to interpret and execute mechanical drawings and technical documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Sound understanding of engineering drawings, multidisciplinary interfaces, and construction processes.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of site management practices, construction safety requirements, and quality control procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><!---text--> <\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 0px\">Systra is an equal opportunities company; this position is open to all applicants.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Workplace Type<\/h2>\n<p>..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SYSTRA is one of the world&#8217;s leading engineering and consultancy groups specialising in public transport and sustainable mobility.
