This role will support the SYSTRA Canada team on various projects in Toronto<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
As the Lead Scheduler, you will work with the program team to execute the following responsibilities:<\/p>\n
· Implement the project’s planning and delivery strategies.<\/p>\n
· Collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders to identify and optimize sequencing, logistics, and resource allocation.<\/p>\n
· Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments to ensure effective planning and staging of activities.<\/p>\n
· Coordinate with various teams to develop schedules, phasing plans, and mitigation measures.<\/p>\n
· Attend planning meetings ensuring effect planning is done to reduce safety, maximise performance of engineering possessions.<\/p>\n
· Monitor and update the project’s planning and staging activities based on changing requirements and constraints.<\/p>\n
This role will report to the Head of Planning.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Compentency Requirements :<\/strong> <\/p>\n · Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience<\/p>\n · Minimum five (10) years of experience in planning and staging for large infrastructure projects, preferably in the railway industry.<\/p>\n · Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, logistics planning, and resource management<\/p>\n · Familiarity with construction methodologies, safety regulations, and environmental considerations<\/p>\n · Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Behavioral Skills :<\/strong><\/p>\n · Monitors work assignments for adherence to timelines and compliance with policies and processes. <\/p>\n · Create the environment for successful implementation of processes. <\/p>\n · Ability to contribute to the establishment of a behavioral charter and capability to drive the agreed. behavioral values through MCS and the wider program team. <\/p>\n · Respectfully listens to others and considers all views presented. <\/p>\n · Teamwork – balances team and individual responsibilities; gives and welcomes feedback. <\/p>\n · Puts team success above own interests. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Salary : <\/strong>CAD 120,000 – 150,000 annually<\/p>\n<\/p>\n SYSTRA Canada is committed to having a diverse and inclusive workforce.
