The Procurement role will be responsible for helping to manage\/ assure the day to day procurement activities of DevCo and its subcontractors and supporting the Procurement team as a whole.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The responsibilities include <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
· Support the target price work, de-risking the implementation schedule by securing long lead items\/ supplier engagement.<\/p>\n
· Develop and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with Dev Co and the CA, developing mutual trust and understanding.<\/p>\n
· Support the procurement of the Subcontractors through RFP to financial close on behalf of the CA.<\/p>\n
· Supporting Dev Co to secure market coverage on the Target Price at each checkpoint and proposal stage.<\/p>\n
· Supplier engagement to ensure project awareness in the market and secure the services of the best of the supply chain.<\/p>\n
· Early engagement with the supply chain to support the project, with or without agreements in place.<\/p>\n
· Early procurement of critical and long lead items.<\/p>\n
· Supporting the Procurement Team in the development and deployment of the Procurement Plan and new processes. Ensure compliance against their Procurement Management Plan.<\/p>\n
· Validating tendered packages and issuing any non-objections.<\/p>\n
· Ensure the correct terms and conditions are issued to the Supply chain.<\/p>\n
Address and manage Project and supply chain delivery issues<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Salary Range for this role is between C$100,000 – C$120,000 annually. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
· Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in large Engineering and Construction projects and relevant experience working in large teams<\/p>\n
· Understanding in working with multiple stakeholders in the implementation, deployment, and administration of Project Procurement initiatives <\/p>\n
· Deploying and administering procurement initiatives to ensure their deployment and effectiveness in achieving improved project outcomes. <\/p>\n
Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
