SYSTRA Canada is an engineering and consulting firm whose primary focus is to offer transportation solutions, whether for passengers or goods: feasibility studies of building a new railway line, increasing the capacity of the existing infrastructure, privatization of a railway.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Context<\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 0px\">You will join SYSTRA Canada as a Financial Analyst, reporting to the Financial Analyst and Internal Projects Manager. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate accounting and finance while contributing to all stages of the financial cycle. Within the Finance Department, you will support the company&rsquo;s profitability and financial health by providing a variety of financial reports, analyses, and forecasts.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Missions\/Main Duties<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Month-end and budgeting:<\/strong> support month-end close activities, budget analysis, and financial reporting.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Treasury:<\/strong> monitor cash flow, prepare forecasts and monthly reports, process payments, and support accounts receivable follow-up.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Order backlog:<\/strong> prepare the monthly order backlog and reconcile it with the CRM.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Time and project tracking:<\/strong> follow up on timesheets and approvals, and report on billable and non-billable hours.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tools and procedures:<\/strong> maintain finance tools, support users, and update the Finance intranet and procedures.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Finance support:<\/strong> handle finance-related requests and help ensure continuity of administrative and financial operations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ad hoc:<\/strong> contribute to special projects, FX hedging activities, regulatory reporting, and register maintenance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Profile\/Skills<\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 0px\"><strong>Education:<\/strong> Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or Finance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\"><strong>Years of experience:<\/strong> 2 to 3 years of experience in similar roles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\"><strong>Technical skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CPA designation or in progress is an asset; at minimum, solid knowledge of accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in French (spoken, read, and written).<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English (spoken, read, and written).<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the transportation sector is an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\"><strong>Personal qualities:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational and planning skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage month-end close activities and multiple deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable coordinating with multiple stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Methodical, detail-oriented, and proactive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><!---text--> <\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 0px\">SYSTRA Canada is committed to having a diverse and inclusive workforce.
