The role covers building electrical systems and external electrical infrastructure, supporting multidisciplinary coordination and compliant project delivery.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Missions\/Main Duties<\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 0px\">Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and maintain electrical BIM models for stations, depots, substations, OCC buildings, ancillary buildings, and external rail electrical infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li>Model electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, containment, cable trays, conduits, grounding\/earthing, low voltage systems, and associated supports where applicable.<\/li>\n<li>For external works, support modelling of duct banks, cable routing, trenching, utility corridors, and interface elements in Civil 3D where required.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain fully functional, coordinated, and up-to-date electrical BIM models within the ACC-Forma collaborative platform, ensuring proper file linking, shared coordinates, version control, model accessibility, and compliance with project collaboration procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Produce electrical drawings including layouts, sections, details, schematics references, schedules, and coordinated installation drawings from the model.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate electrical models with architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, rail systems, and telecom disciplines.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, BEP, modelling procedures, naming conventions, and information requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in clash detection, coordination meetings, and model reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Incorporate engineer mark-ups, design revisions, and coordination comments into models and drawings.<\/li>\n<li>Support extraction of quantities and asset information from the BIM model where needed.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain model quality, parameter consistency, worksets, file references, and shared coordinates.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in preparing design deliverables at various project stages from concept through detailed design and construction support.<br \/>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Profile\/Skills<\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 0px\">Required Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Drafting, or a related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience as a BIM Modeller \/ Electrical Modeller using Revit and\/or Civil 3D.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of electrical layouts and drafting standards for infrastructure or building projects.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Autodesk Revit for building electrical systems.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D for external electrical infrastructure is highly desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interpret electrical design criteria, single-line concepts, layouts, and engineering mark-ups.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with multidisciplinary coordination and BIM workflows.<br \/>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\">Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience on rail, metro, tramway, airport, or large infrastructure projects.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and model review.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with station buildings, depots, substations, and linear infrastructure coordination.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in data-rich BIM environments and asset information requirements.<br \/>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\">Key Skills<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Electrical BIM modelling<\/li>\n<li>Revit and\/or Civil 3D proficiency<\/li>\n<li>Coordination across disciplines<\/li>\n<li>Drawing and schedule production<\/li>\n<li>Attention to technical detail<\/li>\n<li>Good communication<\/li>\n<li>Time management<\/li>\n<li>Adaptability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\">The reference salary range for this role would be $65,000 &#8211; $85,000 CAD \/ Annually&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2><!---text--> <\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 0px\">SYSTRA Canada is committed to having a diverse and inclusive workforce.
