We have also capabilities of designing AC & DC traction, third rail, power supply and<\/span> <\/span>OHL. We have experience in executing domestic and some prestigious international projects.<\/p>\nOn the Rolling stock, Signaling, Telecommunications, AFC, RAMS & Operations side, Systra India is executing several design review and detailed project reports like: MRVC-CBTC (Migration of Existing Sub-Urban Transit system to CBTC), Bangalore Metro, Kolkata Metro, Pune Metro Phase II, Vijayawada MRTS and Dhaka Metro Line 5N.<\/span><\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\nWe are seeking applications for the position of<\/span> <\/span> Sr. Rolling Stock Design, Testing & Commissioning Expert – K2 for Mumbai -MMRDA Line 6<\/p>\n<\/p>\nMissions\/Main Duties<\/h2>\n\n- Successfully managed the full project lifecycle for rolling stock ensuring adherence to project plans, with proper monitoring and controlling.<\/li>\n
- Drove critical design reviews (Preliminary, Pre-Final & Final) and approvals, aligning designs with contractual obligations.<\/li>\n
- Conducted progress reviews at manufacturing plants, ensuring timely and quality delivery of metro coaches.
Ensured quality and compliance through rigorous inspection and approval of Rolling stock along with witness inspections of holding points.<\/li>\n - Raising of Non-Conformity Reports for technical issues and failed components to mitigate risks and resolve issues and closing after getting compliances from Contractor.<\/li>\n
- Responsible for comprehensive Planning of routine & type test.<\/li>\n
- Witnessed routine static and dynamic testing of rolling stock to prepare these for operational readiness.<\/li>\n
- Streamlined change management by reviewing and approving submitted change proposals (HECP\/SECP) and retrofit work by contractor.<\/li>\n
- Facilitated regulatory approvals, including RDSO documentation, successful oscillation trials, and sectioning of Rolling Stock by CMRS.<\/li>\n
- Contributed strategically to techno-commercial aspects of rolling stock projects, applying FIDIC principles.<\/li>\n
- Working knowledge of relevant railway’s standards (IEC, EN, UIC, ISO) etc.<\/li>\n
- Interfacing of Rolling Stock with signaling, Traction, PSD, track, Depot M&P etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Profile\/Skills<\/h2>\n\n- Education qualification -Graduate in Electrical \/Mechanical Engineering<\/span><\/li>\n
- Years of experience – 15+ Years<\/span><\/li>\n
- Prior experience requirement – 6+ yrs relevant in Metro \/ Railway System<\/span><\/li>\n
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority<\/span><\/li>\n
- Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decisions and be a good troubleshooter.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
