Rocky Mountaineer launched a major refurbishment project of their 16 bi-Level dome coaches, named GoldLeaf 2.0 to update and re-design the interior of the coaches that were built between 1995 and 2007.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first floor is a dining area while the second floor has coach seating and allows passengers to view the Rocky Mountains&#8217; scenery though the coaches large dome windows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current project spans a total of six years, with one prototype coach initially refurbished under a separate contract, followed by two&nbsp;coaches the first, 2nd, and 3rd year and the remaining nine coaches over the remaining three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SYSTRA Canada is responsible for the delivery of the entire program to revitalize Rocky Mountaineer\u2019s fleet of 16&nbsp;GoldLeaf bi-level dome cars under a turn-key model.
