SYSTRA has been present on the Iberian market for over twenty years, notably in support of the modernisation of the Bilbao metro, but also on high-speed line projects. The Group&#8217;s ambitions in this region are reflected in the creation of a new subsidiary, SYSTRA Ib\u00e9rica, which will cover the Spanish and Portuguese markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>This will be SYSTRA&#8217;s third acquisition in this field, following the acquisition of the Italian company SWS in 2021 and the Australian company Bamser in 2023, both of which specialise in the design of tunnels and underground structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-bg-light-dusty-blue is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>I am delighted that SYSTRA will be integrating the talented teams of Subterra, which will strengthen our position as a reference in specialised and complex underground works.
