SYSTRA is General Engineering Consultants for Surat Metro Rail Project Phase-1

 

We are seeking applications for the role “NK-70 : Chief Resident Engineer
(E&M-UG) for Surat GEC Metro Project.

## Missions/Main Duties

- Chief Resident Engineers – E&M /UG assist Deputy Project & Director (System)
  in Under Ground- E&M works construction packages.
- Responsible for the start-up meeting with the E&M Contractors, to decide on
  E&M work methodology and scheduling.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of progress of work by contractor and plan
  remedial measures in case mile stones are not likely to be achieved.
- Lead the Supervision Team to ensure quality & safety and construction in
  accordance with approved designs and laid down specifications.
- Assist the Employer to coordinate with any other parties such as the
  authorities, utility undertakers or local residents for a smooth work.

## Profile/Skills

- Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum total experience of 20 years, out of which 7 years experience should
  be in the construction field.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
- Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and
  respecting differences.
- Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery
  environment, applying industry best practices.
- Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability
  to influence without authority.
