The JV will independently certify various work packages including stations, signalling, tracks, rollingstock, mechanical and electrical systems.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The JV will also deliver the following services:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Full surveillance and design for a stabling and maintenance facility at Orchard Hills.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Construction of the twin metro tunnels, viaducts and at grade infrastructure.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operation and maintenance of the line and its assets.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Constructability Advice&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SYSTRA were engaged by Arup to integrate into the multi-disciplinary technical advisor team and provide constructability advice for Station Boxes and Tunnelling (SBT) scope. Drawing on extensive experience on previous Sydney Metro projects through development and delivery stages, SYSTRA provided valuable advice to assist in the development of the project Definition Design, supporting the Environmental Impact Statement and Final Business Case. This resulted in the development of a constructible design, robust project requirements, and high-quality Tender Documentation for issue to SBT contractors.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-benefit\">Benefit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The city-shaping project, from St Marys through to the new Airport and Western Sydney Aerotropolis, will provide a major economic stimulus for the region. Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport will deliver a fast, safe and reliable metro to support the success of the future Western Parkland City.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-outcome\">outcome<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sydney Metro is Australia\u2019s biggest public transport project. By 2030, Sydney will have a network of four metro lines, 46 stations and 113km of new metro rail connecting Sydney\u2019s northwest, west, southwest and greater west to fast, reliable turn-up-and-go services with fully accessible stations.
