This new underground railway will connect Greater Parramatta and the Sydney CBD.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-challenge\">Challenge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Sydney Metro West is a new 24km metro line that will double rail capacity between Greater Parramatta and the Sydney CBD. This includes:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The production of fully federated, interoperable, geo-spatially accurate CAD, BIM and GIS models.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The review of digital engineering deliverables to ensure the compliance with standards and to meet Sydney Metro West requirements across the project lifecycle.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Independent Certification Services&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a joint venture (JV) partnership with KBR, SYSTRA ANZ has been awarded an Independent Certification Services contract for Sydney Metro West. The JV will independently certify several work packages, including tunnelling, stations, integrated station development, line wide systems, trains, control systems, maintenance and operations through design, construction, and completion.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-benefit\">Benefit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sydney Metro West will transform Sydney for generations to come, linking new communities to rail services and supporting employment growth and housing supply.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-outcome\">outcome<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sydney Metro is Australia\u2019s biggest public transport project. By 2030, Sydney will have a network of four metro lines, 46 stations and 113km of new metro rail connecting Sydney\u2019s northwest, west, southwest and greater west to fast, reliable turn-up-and-go services with fully accessible stations.
