The Sydney Metro City & Southwest project will connect the Southwest of Sydney to the CBD and North West, and increase total rail network capacity by 60% and deliver 31% more train services upon completion. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sydney Metro City & Southwest is a new 30km metro line extending metro rail from the end of Sydney Metro Northwest at Chatswood under Sydney Harbour, through to new CBD stations and Southwest to Bankstown. The line is due to open in 2024 with the capacity to run a metro train every two minutes each way through the centre of Sydney. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
