The position of Chief Rolling Stock Design & Specification Engineer & Project Manager (Rolling Stock) is the key position in these BIDs<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Design Authorization:<\/strong> Defining core technical specifications for car-body structures, propulsion systems (VVVF), and bogie dynamics to ensure crashworthiness and stability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Manufacturing Oversight:<\/strong> Leading global vendor management, including quality audits at assembly plants and the approval of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n System Integration:<\/strong> Managing the critical “Kinematic Envelope” with Civil\/Tunnel teams and ensuring Signaling (CBTC) equipment is flawlessly integrated on-board.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Contract Management:<\/strong> Steering multi-million dollar procurement timelines, ensuring train delivery aligns with track and signaling readiness.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Safety & Commissioning:<\/strong> Leading high-speed stability trials and service drills to secure final CMRS<\/strong> (safety) authorization for commercial operations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Maintenance Strategy:<\/strong> Developing long-term maintenance manuals and specifying the heavy machinery required for the Depot’s 30-year operational lifecycle.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n We commit to put people who join us at the heart of improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency.
