Charles Stark, PE, has been announced as SYSTRA USA’s new President & CEO. Mr. Stark, who most recently led the team performing management review of the World Trade Center and permanent PATH station reconstruction, has 35 years of experience in the transportation industry. “I am very excited to have been selected to lead SYSTRA,” said Stark. “I look forward to continuing SYSTRA’s vision, providing quality service to our clients and focusing on steady growth.”
Mr. Stark began his career as a field engineer with General Electric Company. He later became assistant director/transportation systems engineering at the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority. After five years working in the private sector, Mr. Stark joined the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, where he spent more than a decade leading the design and construction of the Los Angeles Subway, and was most recently executive officer, engineering and construction. In 2002, Mr. Stark returned to the private sector.
