As part of the tender organised by the Lyon-Turin Rail Authority (Lyon-Turin Ferroviaire) relating to the technical studies for the Lyon-Turin project, lot B3 has been awarded to a consortium headed by SNCF and composed of SYSTRA, Italfer and Tractebel. The lot covers both railway and other equipment. SYSTRA’s responsibilities include the catenary, the track, telecommunications and assistance for signalling. The contract comes into force at the beginning of May and will run for about a year.
