In February 2005, SYSTRA, associated with Ingerop (France) and Ingema ( Morocco), began a 5-year programme providing assistance to the project manager for the construction of a tramway in Rabat ( Morocco). The project is to build two lines covering a total distance of 20 kilometers, with the possibility of extension in the future. SYSTRA is assisting the Client, SABR (Société d’Aménagement de la vallée du Bouregreg) for the preparation of calls for tenders aiming at refining existing plans: preliminary project, institutional and traffic studies…
