In regard to its tramway project, Reims selected SYSTRA for a mission of technical and financial Assistance to Owner.

Indeed, under its urban transport plan, CAR (Communauté d'Agglomération de Reims) decided to create a 10 km long dedicated site public transportation line, between Croix-Rouge and Orgeval via the town centre of Reims. Its daily ridership will average 35,000 persons. Commissioning is scheduled for early 2010.

SYSTRA is responsible for providing permanent assistance to CAR's Tramway Mission in regard to all aspects of the project: project management, monitoring of the project management contract, assistance to the preparation and implementation of the concession contract for the construction, operation and maintenance of the transport system, works supervision, assistance to the optimisation of the financing of the project, etc.
