"Jobs vary of course from one project to another. I’m currently working on several feasibility studies for high-speed lines in Morocco for the national railways office, ONCF. I also worked in Poland for a month and a half, analysing the Polish rail network and helping to build a model for rail, passenger and freight pricing.
I see every job as a new challenge ! You need to understand the context of a study very quickly, as well as customer needs and the key issues for success, often working to very tight deadlines and on very different subjects.
The fact that SYSTRA is an international company means that the work is always interesting and therefore good experience. Overseas postings help us to gain a detailed understanding of the context of the project and solve problems which wouldn’t exist in France. It teaches you that it’s not always possible to reproduce past successes."
