André OHNHEISER will be joining SYSTRA from 1st of next October in the capacity of Director for the EUROPE region.
An engineer who trained at the Paris Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics, André Ohnheiser filled a number of executive positions at SNCF over the last 25 years.
After beginning his career as director of urban engineering departments, he was recruited at SNCF in 1982 at the Way and Works department. He completed several missions abroad for SOFRERAIL before being put in charge of GET Calais Tunnel from 1989 to 1992. He was then seconded to ITALFERR in Rome through SYSTRA to work on the project for the Italian high speed system from 1993 to 1999. In 2000, he returned briefly to SNCF International , where he created the Engineering Division and he pursued his career within SNCF’s regional divisions : Marseille, where he was in charge of development, management control and major projects, then Limoges in 2001 before returning to Marseille in 2003 as delegate director for Infrastructures.
