This project entailed the management of the work on the construction of 4.2 km of tunnel and 4 underground stations for the Hamma-Haï-El-Badr section of line 1 of the Algiers Metro, built using traditional tunneling methods. Commencing in 2005, the contract (with RATP Development) was to provide assistance to the Algiers Metro Company in overseeing the design, construction and installation of all fixed equipment systems for the whole of line 1 phase 1, including stations, rolling stock and maintenance facilities.
